Blood is often referred as liquid love and its donation is one of the purest forms of service. So what better way than saving lives with something which is available in plenty and replenishable, yet so precious that it cannot be man-made? However just one per cent of the people donate blood annually while about 80 percent of us (whether prince or a pauper) may need blood at some time in our lives.
Telugu Association of Utah conducted the Blood Drive in association with American Red Cross on 10/29/2011 from 9:00 AM till 2:00 PM at the Sri Ganesha Temple of Utah/ ICC premises. Around 50 people turned out including donors and volunteers. American Red Cross set up a bus and collected whole blood.
A total of 25 proud donors have donated the blood and 24 of them were successful.

There were about 20 people who came forward for the Blood Drive, but could not donate due to American Red Cross staff's availability and other various reasons.
